byu has plenty of OL in the system, just not many this spring because several are being held out because they are coming off injury.
starters
OT: M Reynolds OG: Hansen C: T Brown OG: Aletto, Moose OT: Braden Brown
Reserves
OT: Alleto can play g or OT, Wilcox, J Black OG: Speardon, H Reynolds, Freeman, Kanuch, Mulitalo, Vaitai, Kahaiali’i
Note that some of those listed will be cross-trained at other positions, namely center. This list may not be perfectly accurate and I am probably missing 1-2 guys, but the point is there will be plenty of healthy good bodies, with a very good starter group, and solid 2 deep.
So calm down and no more posts about O-line health. Yes, for spring they only have a small healthy number so the spring game will be more like a practice format and not white team against blue team.

Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteI was having visions of 2009 repeated when we supposedly had no healthy linemen to back up our starters.
